We had the pleasure of hatching 15 baby chickens for Henny Penny. It was great fun for all involved, especially the Prep room, where they lived. All our other rooms visited daily to follow the progress of the hatching chicks, which grew big and fluffy.

It was great fun for the children to watch the chicks grow and develop.  Learning skills such as “the life cycle” and “diversity in nature” were covered, as well as maintenance and caring for chicks, turn taking and general scientific concepts.
